Sustainability & Our B Corp Journey

Certified B Corp

Universal Pixels is proud to be a Certified B Corporation®, recognising our commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

We began our B Corp journey in 2021, working with Sustainable X to assess our impact across our people, supply chain, customers, and the environment. What followed was a structured review of how we operate, driving meaningful change across policies, sustainability practices, and employee wellbeing.

Certification has helped formalise values that have always been central to our business. It also provides a clear framework for continuous improvement as we grow.

As part of this process, we published our Impact Report 2024, establishing a baseline across Environment, People, Partnerships & Community, and Resources. This has informed ongoing improvements, including enhanced employee benefits, clearer development pathways, and further investment in reducing our environmental impact.

We are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050, with an interim target to reduce emissions by 21% by 2030. Alongside this, we continue to extend equipment lifecycles, improve repair and servicing capability, and reduce waste across our operations.

B Corp certification is not a milestone we’ve reached—it is a framework that will continue to guide how we grow, improve, and hold ourselves accountable.

As our Managing Director, Gareth Jeanne, puts it:
“B Corp gives us a framework for continuous improvement and public accountability. We see that as essential, both for our own business and for the industry as a whole.”

We’ve also published three in-depth articles exploring our B Corp journey, including Our B Corp Journey, Carbon to Culture, and Why B Corp Matters to Universal Pixels. Together, they look at how certification is shaping our approach as a business, as well as the practical steps we’re taking to become more sustainable and socially responsible.
