Roger Waters - ‘THIS IS NOT A DRILL’ Tour

Universal Pixels supplied Leyard CLM6 as it was the highest resolution tile at 13kg per sq m. In addition to the screens and servers, UP provided a camera package including a 4K 2ME Ross Carbonite Ultra vision mixer with five Sony HDC4300s (four XJ90 lenses and one HJ14), and two Panasonic AWUE150KPJ PTZ cameras with Ereca Topas 4K Optical transmission modules on custom automated masts by Kinetic Lights. Finally, UP provided a 10-station custom-built backline monitoring package and 14 crew members.

This feature looks at the planning that Universal Pixels did to prep for this world tour. Universal Pixels “undertook extensive, market-wide research” and worked with those within production in order to work out the most efficient way of creating this unique and jaw-dropping visual for the shows.
