Job Description:
Reporting directly into the Head of Projects, the Project Manager’s key purpose is to lead and manage key projects with a focus on delivering high-quality results within the allocated time and budget.
This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and driving project success. Our Project Managers are ambassadors of the business, and play a key part in maintaining and developing our excellent reputation at all times.
Responsibilies:
As the role holder, you will be required to undertake the following tasks;
Project Planning
Create comprehensive plans that clearly define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Job Quoting
Initial Assessment and Requirement Gathering: Conduct an in-depth analysis of client requirements and project scope as a preliminary step in the quoting process
Quote Preparation: Develop detailed quotes, encompassing project costs, resources, timelines, and contingencies. This includes collaborating with sales, technical and client teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Resource Management
Allocate and manage resources effectively, including internal teams and third-party contractors, to ensure projects are delivered as per the agreed plan
Comprehensive Project Information Gathering
Systematically gather project-related information from various sources to inform and refine project planning and execution
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary interface with clients, sales, and technical teams
Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in project status and strategies
Quality, Risk & Financial Management
Regularly assess project risks and opportunities, maintaining high-quality standards,identify and mitigate risk
Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and financial performance in line with project plan and budget
Reporting and Documentation
Ensure thorough project documentation in line with standard operating procedures
Skills & Experience:
Highly experienced Project Manager with minimum of 3 years managing projects or holding similar roles within Live Events
Has a strong technical background in video and/or live production
Well versed in all aspects of live production with particular focus on video production
Has the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workstreams and priorities
Can effectively manage the expectations of key stakeholders (internal and external)
A natural technical and logistical problem solver
Is a highly organised and methodical
