Depeche Mode - ‘Memento Mori’ tour

Universal Pixels supplied 320sq m of INFiLED ER5 LED for the impressive 8m high M centrepiece, the upstage video wall and the two IMAG screens. Additionally, Universal Pixels also supplied video director Jon Shrimpton with Grass Valley Kula PPU, Hitachi 3G camera channels, 3D LED set pieces, and Panasonic HE145 robo cameras orchestrated through disguise gx2c media servers.

This feature looks at Universal pixels involvement including the unique task of making an ‘M’ out of LED. Our Co-Founder, Phil Mercer, comments “each Depeche Mode tour is always different from the last, but they’re no strangers to utilising bespoke 3D LED set pieces on stage”.
