Universal Pixels are an independent, award-winning, supplier of video equipment & crew globally to some of the most exciting visual shows in Academies, Arenas, Festivals, Film Sound Stages, Pop Up Venues and Theatres. UP is an exciting, growing and evolving company, and we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join us. 

We have worked on projects such as The Lehman Trilogy at the National Theatre, “Masters of the Air’ for Apple TV and Depeche Mode’s ‘Momento Mori’ world tour and many more, and we have some extremely exciting new projects coming up in 2024 and beyond.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to our Commercial Director Phil, and working with the support of our brilliant Projects and Technical Teams, this electrifying full-time role will see you building strong relationships across the Arts, TV & Film, and Music, leveraging technical and administrative support to ensure successful and efficient delivery of our incredible projects.

As part of the sales team, you will ensure that relevant customers, partners, and influencers choose UP for their bespoke video solutions.

You will play a key role in managing the design and implementation of key components for Universal Pixels projects making sure that we deliver excellence and exhilaration in equal measure!

Where you’ll be based

Our HQ is in Tring in Hertfordshire. Due to the client facing nature of the role this can be Remote/Hybrid, with the need to travel as required.

Who we want

You are a great relationship builder, with a passion for selling and closing deals, and an understanding of the nuances between the Arts, TV/Film and Music sectors (bonus points for experience selling into 2 or more of these). You communicate effectively at all levels (internally, with UP team members and externally, with Clients) and have a good understanding of visual technology and how it is best used out in the field. If that resonates, then it’s You we want, especially if you have:

  • The ability to learn and communicate technical requirements and benefits.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Mac computer proficiency and general software packages such as Office/GSuite

  • Self-motivation, determination, confidence and resourcefulness
